GE claims to have the smartest and most dummy-proof washer and dryer units in the market today with the GE Profile SmartDispense series. The SmartDispense is capable of automatically dispensing both detergent and fabric softener automatically, according to the load size, soil level, water hardness and even fabric of cycle type. Guess you no longer need to crack your head on just how much detergent to use, eh? As for the washer unit, it also boasts special cycles which cater for various clothing items, and is smart enough to treat over 40 different combinations of stains and fabric types. Both the washer and dryer units are able to communicate with one another, removing all guesswork regarding load in the process. This dynamic duo will retail for $1,299 (washer) and $1,099 (dryer) when available next summer.
