Go old school with the Hyperkin Dual Action SG/FC console which is able to play games from two different eras - that of the Nintendo NES and SEGA Genesis. Obviously, there will be two cartridge slots to cater for different console games, and is compatible with original carts from both retro systems. A switch is there for you to choose between NES and Genesis modes. Forget about high definition graphics here - the SG/FC is hooked up to your TV via RCA composite video, and each purchase will come with a couple of gaming pads to get you started. The Hyperkin Dual Action SG/FC console currently retails for $35 to $45 on eBay, and those with a little bit more patience (and money) can look forward to the FC3 Plus system which works with NES, SNES and Genesis games.
