Intelligent Digital Compass

The Intelligent Digital Compass is tipped for a January 2009 release, and don't mistake it for a personal navigation system of a GPS data logger. This is but a device that can mark your position so that you are always able to return to that exact same spot many years later (assuming the device is still working by then, of course), no matter how different the surrounding landscapes look like. It is able to store a maximum of three locations, so choose wisely. Once stored, you can select any of those locations and hit return - it will show you exactly where you need to move towards as well as the remaining distance. The LCD display is pretty basic when relaying information, comprising of a battery indicator, GPS signal status and is backlit just in case your quest leads you to walk in the middle of the night.
