Mac OS X Snow Leopard to be released in Q1 2009

That's not much of a revelation, but it's a confirmation of things to come: the next Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) will be released early next year. Apple has already presented the main features of this next OS (64-bit, better multi-core support, Open Compute Language).
The most interesting feature of all, in my opinion, is OpenCL (real 64-bit is second). Note that the new Macbooks are already fitted with powerful GPUs from NVIDIA and it is clear to me that Apple will demonstrate GPU-accelerated GPU encoding of video, Mp3 and more.
