Nokia Roadmap Shows 8 Megapixel Phone

Finally, just when we thought Nokia would not break past the 5 megapixel camera phone barrier, along comes this roadmap that shows off not only an 8 megapixel camera phone, it also boasts a trio of high-end touch screen devices among others. This roadmap features phones up till the second half of next year, which is what we'll be concentrating on.

Nokia IP08

• A wide touchscreen display
• A 5 megapixel autofocus camera
• Full QWERTY keyboard
• aGPS
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• FM radio and transmitter
• TV-out
• Bluetooth connectivity

Nokia Corolla (inspiration from Toyota, perhaps?)

• An 8 megapixel camera (a first for Nokia)
• A “half QWERTY keyboard”

Nokia Ivalo (sounds Final Fantasy-ish)

• 3.5" display
• aGPS
• Wi-Fi connectivity
• 5 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth connectivity
• TV out
• FM transmitter and receiver
• 32GB of internal memory

Nokia Eitri

• Full QWERTY keyboard
• 3.5" touchscreen with 640 x 350 pixels
• Pressure sensitive touch UI, tactile feedback and gesture support
• Accelerometer and compass
• Proximity sensor
• 5 megapixel autofocus camera
• 8GB of expandable memory
