R2-D2 Aquarium

Published on 11/ 9/2008

R2-D2 sleeps with the fishes this time round, but in a good way. In fact, his entire belly has been removed off all the extra arms and gadget wizardry, leaving instead enough space for you to rear some goldfish to swim around in their new abode. The tank holds 1.75 gallons of water in total, and amazingly enough, R2-D2 here is also able to rotate his domed head while beeping just like how he does it in the movies. The radar eye holds a periscope for you to view the tank in a more intimate manner. Each $129.95 purchase comes with a filter and overhead LED tank lights that are able to alternate between red, blue and green colors. Star Wars fans will definitely love the 2-sided waterproof cardboard insert that shows scenes from the movie as a background instead of snapshots of underwater plants.
