Savant Rosie Contemporary Remote

Most of us are extremely familiar with rectangular remotes, but Savant has clearly thrown a spanner in the works with the Rosie Contemporary remote which comes in a round bowl-shaped form factor. This makes it a snap to fit into your palm, and it comes with a fully programmable 11-button user interface and a scroll wheel for easier navigation. There will be seven buttons located on the outer ring, while four more are situated right under the interior scroll wheel. Icons are used to hook you up with your home's lighting, AV, security and thermostats among others. A button can have more than a single function, depending on the mode that you're on at the moment. The outer shell can be customized to include any material or finish that is right up your alley. A standard Rosie Contemporary remote will retail for $400, but if you opt for the model with an on-screen display, it will cost you a whopping $3,800. What gives?
