Asus Releases Eee PC 900SD On The Sly

Asus has silently rolled out its Eee PC 900SD that is somehow gimped, since you get less storage and a lower resolution webcam despite retaining its 8.9" display an Intel Celeron 900MHz processor. Below are the specifications in further detail :-

  • 8.9" display at 1,024 x 600 resolution
  • 1GB RAM (Windows)/512MB RAM (Linux)
  • 8GB SSD
  • 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity
  • Three USB 2.0 ports
  • VGA port
  • Mic/headphone jacks
  • SDHC/MMC memory card slot
  • 0.3 megapixel webcam

The Eee PC 900SD tips the scales at just 1kg, and will have a battery life of approximately 4 hours.
