Brother Goes Green With New Printers

Brother, a household name when it comes to printers, has just unveiled a couple more laser models in the form of the HL-4040CDN and the MFC-9450CDN all-in-one. Both models will share an automatic duplex printing feature that results in reduced paper use which are able to print on both sides of a page. As for the former, it will replace Brother's existing HL-4040CN, featuring 21ppm print speeds for black and white and color pages as well as maximum print quality of 2,400 x 600dpi, in addition to the mentioned duplex printing feature. As for the all-in-one laser MFC-9450CDN, it will come with printing speeds of 21ppm whether in monochrome or color, 17ppm for copying pages and a maximum print resolution of 2,400 x 600. The HL-4040CDN and MFC-9450CDN will retail for nearly $400 and $650, respectively, when available.
