This conceptual electric folding bike ought to be worth taking a look at, right? Well, it might have picked up a Merit prize in a bike design competition, but it certainly lies at the bottom of the practicality scale as you'll need to charge it at home by pedaling. Strange - why can't we pedal and charge it simultaneously while we're outside? Is this some nefarious plot to get some of us to exercise at home? Kinda makes it pointless to ride a bike to work when you have to spend extra time juicing it up at home before the batteries are able to last you through to the office. No wonder it hasn't made it to the manufacturing line yet, if ever.
