Control Your Dog Treat Dispenser With An iPhone
Posted on Dec 4, 08 07:57 PM PDT

The iPhone is not only a smartphone, but it seems to attract all the smart people, resulting in smart applications that we never would have dreamt of arriving so soon. Case in point, Stephen Myers who discovered that he is able to use an I/O module and servo smart board from ioBridge, a servo, an old CD spindle case, some cardboard and wood scraps, a large syringe plunger, and a webcam to build his very own dog treat dispenser that can be controlled via the iPhone without the need for any programming. The system-generated Javascript that is embedded into a web page optimized for the iPhone screen enables Myers to give his dog, Cooper, some treats remotely.
