Are you going to throw a party this holiday season? Never mind the economy if all you care about is your ego, and this is where the custom made carbon fiber door comes in. It tips the scales at 99 pounds and won't let just about any Tom, Dick or Harry in. Instead, it relies on a fingerprint-based biometric scanner for entry. The price to pay for such a technologically advanced door? A cool $15,000. This door was developed by Choate Carbon for a Brazilian apartment, and was specially manufactured using the vacuum bagging process, a divinycell and polypropylene honeycomb core, epoxy resin, and finished with a matte lacquer with U.V.
