Ericsson And 3 Offer 21Mbps Mobile Broadband Network In Europe
Posted on Dec 10, 08 07:25 PM PDT

Ericsson and 3 Scandinavia have come to an agreement to upgrade 3’s HSPA network to 21 Mbps downlink speeds, which is a huge jump over the current quality and capacity offered. According to Mikael Bäckström, President of Ericsson Nordic and Baltic region, says: “With the upgrade to 21Mbps, 3 is one of the first operators to offer customers new and richer services at this speed. We are proud to contribute to 3’s great ambition to launch high-speed mobile broadband services in Scandinavia.” 21Mbps is no mean feat, but you will first need a device that is capable of supporting such a speed. It is a no-brainer to assume that such a device will make its debut in the Scandinavian region first. 3G who?
