FCC Receives Kyocera S1300
Posted on Dec 9, 08 07:55 PM PDT

The FCC has gotten hold of the Kyocera S1300, which means the handset could make an appearance on the mass market pretty soon if everything is approved and up to par. The device will be a tri-band 800/1700/1900MHz CDMA handset, and comes with aGPS although everything else looks pretty entry level. You won't get a camera (surprising in this day and age), but you will be able to enjoy speakerphone support, voice commands and Web browsing. No idea on which carrier will offer the Kyocera S1300, but MetroPCS would be a likely candidate.
