Intel has just announced a much larger X25-M SSD that comes in 160GB of storage space without adding to the weight and dimensions. Key specifications for performance enthusiasts include :-

• 70MB/s write speed
• SIlent operation
• Shock resistant technology
• Reduced power usage

The 80GB model (read our review) currently retails for around £350, so you can make and educated guess on how big a hole in your wallet the 160GB version will make.
