LG Announces New 14.1-inch LCD For Outdoor And Indoor Use

LG has rolled out a new 14.1" LCD monitor that targets use for both indoor and outdoor environments, bringing adaptive backlight displays to a totally new level. LG's effort this time round offers optimum screen visibility under virtually any condition, where you are able to switch from Transmissive mode to Reflective on-the-fly. In addition, LG claims that their innovative display will also help prolong notebooks' battery lifespan, although that remains to be benchmarked by independent tests.
