Medion Unveils Trio Of GoPals

Medion has just expanded its GoPal line of GPS navigation systems by another three models - the GoPal P5235, GoPal P5435 and GoPal X5535. Thanks to a tiny AES1510 fingerprint sensor that can be found in cell phones, users are able to save up to five fingerprints for security features. This means whoever steals either one of the three GPS units won't be able to access it either, unless they lop off your finger as well. The GoPal P5235 can be controlled simply by speaking to it, and it is smart enough to read out street names with a speeding warning to prevent you from getting tickets. In addition, it comes with a built-in FM transmitter module that sends voice instructions to the vehicle's audio system. As for the GoPal P5435, this model features the mentioned as well as Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone calls. The high end GoPal X5535 boasts the addition of an integrated gyrometer which compensates for the momentary loss of GPS signals by detecting the movement of the vehicle itself. There is no word on pricing as at press time, although they'll be available in Europe.
