Nikon To Kick Off Video Content Service

Nikon might have wowed the world a few months ago with its single-eye head mounted display, but all that fancy hardware is pretty much useless if it does not have any content to go along with it. As we've always reiterated, software is where the value lies, and so the same goes for the Borg-like UP300. You will find its "Uplink" video content distribution service offer media that can be downloaded or streamed directly via a wireless network, or you can opt to download all the relevant content onto a PC before transferring it over to the UP300 using dedicated software. Some of the content Nokia has lined up include music videos, language-learning programs and trend information among others. Content will be broken down into channels or categories, where each channel boasts a set of multiple contents. You will be able to enjoy both free and fee-based content, with the monthly fee per channel ranging from around $1.06 to $3 thereabouts.
