Nintendo Wii Sends Brits To Hospitals

You might save some money in picking the Nintendo Wii over the Xbox 360 or Sony PS3 when it comes to gaming consoles, but you might end up spending more in the long run. According to The Sun, an average of 10 Wii users in the UK are hospitalized each week due to excruciating pain in their shoulders and knees. This phenomenon has been dubbed the Wii-itus and Wii-Knee by doctors, and sudden movements in the tennis game and in Wii Fit are cited as the main suspects. Perhaps these are out of shape gamers who are more used being a couch potato than anything else, but with the advent of Wii's engaging gameplay, they have started to move around a whole lot more in a vigorous manner to cause these injuries.
