OLED Christmas Tree Piles On The Geekery
Posted on Dec 17, 08 06:27 PM PDT

Just when you thought that fake Christmas trees look like the real thing, along comes the OLED Christmas tree from GE's Global Research Center headquarters in Niskayuna, NY. It throws a green light in its immediate surroundings, where GE's flexible OLED panels make for quite a tree. It won't be cheap of course, since we all know just how expensive small OLED displays are, but then again technological advancements in a field have been known to reduce the price by a fair bit in due time with the appropriate marketing and demand. Hopefully this will be a start of something more affordable for the masses in the near future. Thank you for giving, GE.
