Onkyo Introduces HDC-1L Nettop Audio PC

Onyko has just released its HDC-1L nettop audio PC that will sit nicely in most living rooms without looking out of place. This system was not built specifically to run word processing or crunch numbers on a spreadsheet, but it was made to handle digital audio playback in a sleek, vertical solution. Features of the HDC-1L include :-

• Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor
• Intel 945GC Express chipset
• Windows XP Home Edition
• 1GB RAM
• 160GB SATA hard drive
• DVD SuperMulti drive
• Six USB 2.0 ports
• Ethernet connectivity
• SN ratio of 120dB

There will be three models available - the basic HDC-1L is going for around $640, if you want 15-watt stereo speakers, you'll need to fork out $800 while those who opt for that with a 19" LCD monitor, the entire setup will cost $1,070.
