Sony Laptop/Netbook Teaser
Posted on Dec 30, 08 11:20 AM PDT

Sony Japan has posted an image from an upcoming laptop or netbook that shows pointing stick hole. This might mean that the trackpad will go away because it's a very small computer, or Sony might use both, just like Lenovo does... From the layout of the keyboard and the size of the pointing stick area, we can tell that these keys are tightly packed - much more so than on a 13.3" Vaio, or even than a 13.1 Z-Series. So, we might be looking at a 11.1 or a 10.2" model. In any case, that seems like an upcoming CES announcement, so stay tuned as we'll keep an eye on this.
