Toshiba Offers Free Netbook To Folks In Australia

If you're living down under and getting ready to soak in the summer sun, then here's more good news. Toshiba will be offering a free netbook in a promotion that will last until January 15th next year, only if you pick up a Toshiba XV500 series LCD HDTV with a 37", 42" or 46" screen from now till the 15th of January. This free netbook can be redeemed online until the 29th January 2009. Just to make sure that you won't get shortchanged, the netbook in question isn't so underpowered that it might as well be useless - no sir, the Toshiba NB100 is more than enough to help you get your basic computing tasks done on-the-go.
