Turtle Beach Ear Force PX1 Gaming Headphones

Headphones are an essential staple for hardcore gamers, since they alert you of an incoming enemy in FPS, and you get to tune in on all the action in a RTS. After all, positional audio isn't exactly great with a pair of external speakers, so it is nice to see Turtle Beach roll out its Ear Force PX1 gaming headphones for the PS3. This model will come with a USB sound card and a 16-foot cable that enables one to sit comfortably away from the large HDTV during gaming sessions. Nice to know that Turtle Beach has also thrown in an adapter that allows the $79.95 PX1 to work with the Xbox 360 as well. Other features include a built-in microphone, while the USB sound card can be plugged into a PC if you so desire.
