Acer Steps On The Gas With Ferrari 1200

Acer will be introducing the successor to the Ferrari 1100 ultraportable computer in the UK pretty soon, and the new model will be (surprise, surprise) known as the Ferrari 1200. It won't stop the ladies in their tracks as with a real Ferrari vehicle, but it will definitely cause the geekier vamps to pause for a second look. You will get the following with the Acer Ferrari 1200 :-

• 12.1" LED-backlit display
• AMD Turion X2 Ultra processor
• Up to 4GB RAM
• SATA hard drive
• Fingerprint reader
• Carbon fiber cover
• Special F1-inspired ventilation design
• Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity

Judging by history, this is going to be one expensive notebook most notably due to the brand. We do have doubts as to whether it will speed up your work at the office or not...
