Albatron To Roll Out Multi-touch LCD In March
Posted on Jan 20, 09 09:40 AM PDT

Albatron has just let the cat out of the bag - it plans on unveiling its 21.5" LCD display sometime this March, but were pretty tight-fisted when it comes to the product specifications. We do know that Albatron's offering will support 120Hz, feature DVI and VGA inputs as well as send touch information to the PC using a USB connection. As for the optical touch technology used, the Albatron LCD display will see sensors being embedded into the bezel instead of on the surface itself, theoretically resulting in a brighter images as well as increased durability. We suggest you get this only when Windows 7 is up and running across most computers, since that operating system from Microsoft offers native support for multi-touch displays.
