Amazon's Kindle 2 Might Land on February 9th
Posted on Jan 27, 09 09:52 AM PDT

The rumor that the Kindle 2 might be announced on February 9th is spreading like a wildfire after Amazon has announced a press conference on the Morgan Library & Museum in New York. The place of the announcement suggests strongly that the event will be about the Kindle 2, Amazon's new electronic book (eBook). This is consistent with previous Kindle 2 launch rumors.
The Kindle 2 will improve in many way the Kindle experience: it is thinner and has a larger display. Amazon is the dominant eBook player (in the U.S), mainly because of its hold on the book market, and customer base.
