Good news for those who are afraid that their 30GB Zune might have actually choked and died - Microsoft has owned up to their own blunder and here's what they have to say about the entire situation.
There is a bug in the internal clock driver that causes the device to bite the dust on the last day of a leap year. But don’t worry, even though they won’t be releasing an update for the device any time soon, it should resolve itself when January 1, 2009 comes around.
Well at least you don't have a brick lying around, right? Cue Apple fanboys who smugly tell you, "I told you to get an iPod, didn't I?"
