Fujitsu Will Offer Android Services

Fujitsu might not have a handset that runs on Google's Android platform, but that doesn't mean they're shunning it completely. No sir, in fact, the Japanese company just announced a complete suite of services and consulting for Google Android since that platform can be used in car navigation systems, office appliances and set top boxes apart from smartphones and cell phones. Some of the Android-related services from Fujitsu will include :-

• Training and Seminars
• Engineering - OS, Platform, Device Drivers, Applications and migration development
• Consulting
• Platform - Fujitsu’s Inspirium middleware platform

Does this mean Android will make its way to the number one OS in the Japanese market? If not, why does Fujitsu place so much faith in it?
