Game Over For Kogan Agora Android
Posted on Jan 18, 09 09:02 PM PDT

Sad news for those who were looking forward to an affordable Android-powered handset, the Kogan Agora Android. It seems that its release has been postponed indefinitely after a meeting with Google, where Ruslan Kogan pulled out of the launch claiming that the phone needed to undergo a redesign so that it can guarantee “its compatibility with all future Android applications.” A potential roadblock could be developers who want to create applications for the Android OS at a much higher resolution and screen size compared to what the Agora can offer in its present hardware specifications. For those who have placed good money down on a pre-order, fret not - full refunds will be issued.
