Gateway's LT1004U netbook is now available at - of all places, Office Depot. You won't find the LT1004U's innards to be any different from majority of the other netbooks out there as this 2.2 pounder features the following :-

• Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
• 160GB hard drive
• 1GB RAM
• Windows XP Home
• Built-in webcam
• Stereo speakers
• 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity
• Three USB 2.0 ports
• 5-in-1 memory card reader

This model will also feature am 8.9" ultrabright display at 1,024 x 600 resolution - hopefully it is power efficient enough to last for more than a couple of hours since standard netbook batteries aren't well known for being powerhouses in their own right. You can pick up the Gateway LT1004U for $379.
