GiiNii Movit Mini

[CES 2009] The GiiNii Movit Mini looks set to make waves when it is finally released, well, how can you really argue with an Android-powered device that comes with a 4.3” touchscreen display, Wi-Fi connectivity (along with the bunch of benefits that come with it such as RSS feeds, VoIP audio and video conversations, the works) and Bluetooth connectivity among others. You do get a microSD memory card slot to augment the 256MB internal memory, while a mini USB port is used for data transfer and charging purposes. GiiNii is aiming for a Q3 launch with a price of $149 thereabouts, although it has yet to be confirmed as they're working out the kinks. With free Wi-Fi hotspots being more popular these days, a device like this could be useful for those who want to cut down on the monthly phone bills, although we think most people would still prefer to stick to a phone when holding a conversation.
