Strange to see LG dabble with the low end market where digital audio players are concerned, with the UP3 Touch being one of their latest releases. Looking more like a standard USB flash drive than anything else, the UP3 Touch comes with a red and black exterior, featuring red LED touch-sensitive controls that look old school. Apart from the unique color scheme and design, it offers pretty much what other standard digital audio players do, including support for MP3, WMA, and Ogg file formats, an integrated FM tuner and recorder with a 15 hour audio playback time. The UP3 Touch would make pretty good friends with the Samsung U3 due to their similarity methinks. Available in 2GB and 4GB models that will retail for approximately $40 and $51, respectively. Would have been nice to see an external memory card slot included for expansion purposes.
