Mini Media Center Goes Retro
Posted on Jan 19, 09 04:37 PM PDT

British design student Thomas Thomassen has managed to achieve a seemingly perfect blend of retro styling with current technology in the form of the Mini Media Center. Don't be fooled by the avocado-colored exterior, as inside it packs enough juice and processing muscle to function as your home media center, taking away some gloss from your new large screen TV whenever somebody drops by for a visit. Granted, it would be pretty challenging to try and fit this into any home's surroundings as most pads these days come with a modern look, having relegated retro design to the past (or grandpa's house). There ought to be a niche market for this though, so if someone is feeling a little bit flush, perhaps he/she could help Thomas Thomassen bring the Mini Media Center into the mass market?
