More Acer Aspire One Leaks

While Acer did confirm the existence of a larger Aspire One that will be out in Q1 this year, here are more details. It seems as though the 10.1" Acer Aspire One will not function as a replacement of the current model, but will be a larger evolution instead, powered by built-in 3G and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Shame that the display remains at 1,024 x 600 resolution though despite getting more viewing real estate, but you can't have it all, right? The second SD memory card slot has been removed by Acer as well so that it can fit in more internal memory (a single DIMM slot that can hold 2GB tops), alongside the choice between Linux or Windows XP. It is also nice to see the trackpad buttons being moved to where they rightfull belong - under the trackpad instead of sandwiching it. There is no word on pricing, but you can expect this 10.1" Acer Aspire One to come in red, white and black colors this February.
