More Word On Palm Pre
Posted on Jan 12, 09 08:22 AM PDT

The folks at Laptopmag managed to get hold of Palm’s VP of design, Peter Skillman, and have come up with a short summary of their chat which involves a fair number of updates concerning the Palm Pre for the masses. First of all, universal search will not work with e-mail, and Palm is currently working on expanding this feature to other partners apart from Google, Wikipedia and Google Maps. Amazon has been selected as the music store provider, and Palm has yet to confirm whether they will allow downloads via EV-DO and Wi-Fi. Sprint will also make available its TV service for the device, while fans of old school HotSync will have to wait a little longer before they can confirm whether a similar ability will be enabled or not.
