MWV Natralock Offers Greener Packaging
Posted on Jan 8, 09 12:36 AM PDT
[CES 2009] Don't you just hate it when those blister plastic packs and packaging that you purchase are so hard to open, and often hold the risk of cutting your fingers in the process? MWV aims to change that with the Natralock packaging - as you can see, the SanDisk product on the right features Natralock packaging while the one on the left is your typical environmentally unfriendly PVC bundle. It would be a hoot if the folks at MWV took a stroll around the Digital Experience showfloor and approached other companies that used similar PVC packaging to make a green change. Apart from helping keep our environment cleaner, it will also help the product manufacturer save money, as the Natralock package would cost just $0.008, while the standard PVC package would cost $0.0151 in international shipping fees.
