Noaa Robot
Posted on Jan 10, 09 02:20 AM PDT

[CES 2009] If you head to the front of the South Hall at the LVCC, you will probably find the Noaa robot hanging out, greeting people by their name. Noaa has voice recognition software and is pretty smart when it comes to interacting with humans, although you ought to keep your questions rather simple. Having these around in the future won't really bring in the crowds since it can't hold a candle near to a hot booth babe for the time being. Still, it is interesting to see a robot interact with a human, throwing out some rather surprising answers to questions asked with a hint of sarcasm and dry humor. Check this out only if you're passing by and want to take your mind off serious business meetings at CES.
