Nokia Locate Sensor

Nokia revealed its Locate Sensor at CES 2009, and targets folks who are worried about forgetting small, everyday stuff in life such as car keys or wallet. This device will communicate with the user's phone through a software application, letting wail an alarm whenever specified events happen (such as the object moving too far away from you or dropping the sensor). There is no word on the type of connection it uses, but it should function just fine if you're within a 100 meter radius. Alternatively, you can place this sensor on yourself, so if you get separated from from your device, the alarm will kick in as well. The Nokia Locate Sensor can support up to 100 individual sensors, and has enough juice to last for 18 months. This is a concept, so hopefully they won't have too much trouble coming up with a working prototype.
