AT&T Quickfire Not Being Charged Properly
Posted on Feb 25, 09 10:43 AM PDT

Folks who are using the Quickfire from AT&T ought to pay extra attention whenever they're charging the handset as some owners have connected the AC charger upside down, requiring force for the connector to enter the phone. This could result in "significant overheating" which is obviously a dangerous thing to do, especially for folks who love charging their phones while they sleep through the night. Guess not all Quickfire owners will follow this rule which resulted in AT&T's decision to remove all Quickfire units from stores despite it debuting just slightly more than three months ago. Hopefully something can be done on AT&T's side for the Quickfire to be reinstated in stores soon.
