BlackBerry 9630 Niagara World Edition at Verizon
Posted on Feb 27, 09 02:15 PM PDT

It looks like the Blackberry Niagara's model number will be 9630 and it will be a "world edition" because it will support CDMA and GSM with variants of 3G for both standards. The big issue, however, is that it won't have WiFi. Yes it sucks, and we still wonder why Verizon keeps castrating cool phones, but hey, we're on T-Mobile anyway. Takeway:
- GSM/CDMA 3G phone (EVDO RevA, UMTS) "world edition"
- 3.2 Megapixel camera (in the consumer version)
