Cardboard PC Case Concept
Posted on Feb 6, 09 07:37 AM PDT

Now here's a highly flammable PC case concept - one that's made out of corrugated cardboard, apparently, that has been cut in specific shapes and layers so that it can hold all the relevant components found in computers, ranging from the motherboard to processor, memory, power supply, optical and hard drives. Designer Brenden Macaluso claims that it takes only a quartet of processing steps to create this, and they are die cut, gluing (with non-toxic white glue), printing and electronic assembly. Cooling happens thanks to the air spaces created by the corrugated cardboard, but what happens if somebody accidentally leaves a cigarette on this case? Will it catch fire and burn the rest of your data along with it?
