FastMac USB Blu-ray Drive Is Official

At long last, the FastMac USB external slimline Blu-ray reader is now official and will come in a trio of models - the APP-6907, APP-6963 and APP-6964. The first of the three will retail for a mere $99, featuring DVD± capability as well, whereas the more expensive APP-6963 at $299 will boast a 1x BD-R drive. Last but not least we have the $399 APP-6964 4x BD-R drive. All three models are readily available at this moment and can be used on both PC and Mac platforms, although Windows is required for BD movie playback. How many of you out there already have a Blu-ray drive for your computer, and what do you primarily use it for?
