Gigabyte Has Phones For MWC

Gigabyte wants some of the limelight at the upcoming MWC '09 in Barcelona, Spain, touting that it will roll out a trio of new phone series that will fall under the Multimedia, Business, and Style categories. Where multimedia is concerned, chances are it will include the MS820 alongside another new model that features higher specifications. Gigabyte keeps its cards close to its chest with handsets from the other two categories, although they tout that it will be very different from what they have offered before. What we do know about the GSmart S1200, however, is that it will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 with a new Gigabyte-developed user interface known as Smart Zone. The 0.43" thickness also adds some brownie points alongside a 528MHz Qualcomm 7200A processor.
