Huawei i-Mo Wireless Modem

Huawei's latest wireless modem, the i-Mo, will make an appearance at next week's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. We sure hope whoever carries this with them are not prone to losing things as it is roughly the same size as a small key chain, offering both HSDPA and HSUPA USB modem functionality in addition to a WiFi b/g chip on board that makes it a snap for you to share your connection with others. Not only that, there is a microSD memory card slot that turns the i-Mo into an impromptu USB flash drive. As usual, theoretical downlink and uplink speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5.76Mbps are supported, but real world performance is always a fair number of notches lower. Pricing details have yet to be released, although signs do point toward Huawei offering the i-Mo via a carrier.
