JVC GY-HM100U Camcorder Records in Final Cut 's Native Format

Format conversion is one of the most annoying thing when it comes to video recording, so JVC built the GY-HM100U with native recording in the format that Final Cut uses (a flavor of Quicktime) so that users can copy and edit files right away. Videos will be recorded on two SDHC flash cards and the 1080p resolution captured by the 3-CCD sensor should make this a prosumer camcorder. As for the price, expect it to cost close to $4000.
