Folks who own Apple notebooks with Mini DisplayPorts and want to output video to their HDTVs as well as other HDMI devices will soon have some relief in the form of a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter that retails for $14.25 a pop from March 15th onwards, courtesy of discount cable outlet Monoprice.com. Not only that, there will be a couple more of other new adapters that can convert the Mini DisplayPort signal for either DVI or VGA, giving you more third party options compared to what Apple offers at less than half the price you would've paid in an Apple Store. If you can wait for slightly more than a month, then these would be pretty good buys.
