QNAP TS-439: World’s First Atom-Powered Network Storage Device
Posted on Feb 4, 09 12:23 PM PDT

Atom CPUs are making their way into network appliances and QNAP claims to have built the world’s first 4-Bay Atom-based NAS (Network Attached Storage). Aimed at businesses, it has features such as offsite data replication (to another NAS), webserver, backup server, FTP server and so much more... The mainboard contains a 1.6Ghz Atom, 1GB of memory. The RAID setup happens on the integrated LCD, but we hope that there’s a complete web-based admin interface. Head to the QNAP TS-439 product page to see the full specs.
