Sandisk Ships New ImageMate Memory Card Readers

The ImageMate All-In-One and The ImageMate Multi-Card ship today in North America. According to the company the new Sandisk readers are" two of the fastest USB readers, capable of transferring 1-gigabyte of data in less than 35 seconds".
The ImageMate All-in-One reader supports every industry-standard memory card format currently available including SD, SDHC, miniSDHC, microSDHC, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro Duo, xD and CompactFlash, among others for $29.99 (available at sandisk.com). The reader can reach a speed of up to 34 MB/s with a SanDisk Extreme iV 45 MB/s CompactFlash card. Multiple cards can be used simultaneously for card-to-card data transfer. (Photo, on the left)
The ImageMate Multi-Card reader supported formats include xD, Memory Stick, SD, SDHC, and MMC. It retails for $19.99 and it is available at sandisk.com. The Multi-Card reader is capable of up to 30MB/s read and 27 MB/s write data transfer rates when using a SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC card. (Photo on the right).
