Sega RingEdge And RingWide Platforms

Sega has already adopted the Windows Embedded Standard (WES) 2009 operating system for two of its "RingEdge" and "RingWide" platforms which will be arriving in arcades sometime later this year. It will apparently offer operators a cost savings of at least 30%. These are meant for use in arcades and not at home, powered by Intel Pentium and Celeron processors. In addition, it will come with the following :-
- Nvidia Geforce 6800 GPU
- 1GB DDR2 RAM
- 32GB SSD
- Gigabit Ethernet
- Two DVI-I port
- 5.1 audio output
- JAMMA I/O connector
- Three USB 2.0 ports
